T Ball Costume Guide
Thank you for your interest in attending the T Ball. As you may know, this is a limited access public event for the community to artistically express their feelings of loss, but also a celebration of the lives lived by loved ones. You do not have to have personally lost someone to be affected, especially by violence, so all are welcome. This will be recorded as part of a short film project.
Each participant will be required to sign a basic MODEL RELEASE FORM upon arrival. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST COMPLETE THE APPLICATION. WALK-INS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
The Costume Guide is simple: Have fun and do whatever you want with any of (or any combination of) the following themes: death, violence, weapons, Americana, Diasporic spiritual traditions (Caribbean, African, African American, etc.), and climate change. The idea is this is set decades into the future, so consider recycled materials (re-purposed old clothes and sheets, water bottles and other plastics, expired technology, etc.). Aside from beading, no glass or sharp metal are accepted, no brand logos or images (eg. Nike, Polo, LV, etc.) nor celebrity imagery will be accepted.
